The wlof, as in the first book, become shorter and more exciting, and the plots of the various characters all come together in a great battle. I am excited to read the next book in the series though I have it and almost changed its order in my “to read” stack, but I wanted to go to a different genre first in preparation for my own next story. However, once the book is half way through the narrative really improves dramatically an pace quickens. It’s s trong story with a lot of depth of imagination, and carries the story from the previous book forward savid well.
Tolki Book two is still one of the better fantasy series out there because it struggles to avoid the cliches of the genre.
He lives in Saint George, Utah. If you enjoyed the first book in the Runelords series, The Sum of All Men, then you will not be disappointed with Brotherhood of the Wolf.

Those are my only complaints, though. One person found this helpful. Also of key importance in this book is Raj Ahten’s most favored concubine, Saffira, who has been endowed with thousands of women’s glamour and voice, and sets out fxrland convince Raj Ahten to end the war by seeking peace with the Earth King. Remarkably well-developed for a secondary character, Saffira is one of my favorite parts of this book.

The Reavers play a much larger part in this book and their history and where the come from is described in greater detail I still have difficulty actually forming a mental image of them though.
That being said, I find this world unique, rich and totally unputdown-able: It seems a herculean task in the beginning of the book and at the end, far easier.

From there, the story branches out into a number of very interesting side stories that introduce some excellent new characters. In the same far,and that the huge battle of Minas Tirith was desparate and hopeless for the good guys and epic in scopeso is the battle at the end of this book.
I also found it interesting that the story, while huge in scope and full of lots of characters, factio Farland managed somehow to write an almost page book that read really quickly.

If The Sum of All Men intended to introduce the main protagonist and antagonist of The Runelords series, then Brotherhood feels like a pulling back of the curtain. When Saffira arrives with Borenson, the power of her voice causes the populace of Carris to surge forth for one last counterattack against the Reavers, but she is slain before Raj Ahten can save her.
I want to smack Gaborn’s wife.

Please don’t get the impression that I did not like this book, it is very good, just not as good as the first book. Showing of 94 reviews. Taking place over the course of just a few days, Brotherhood of the Wolf picks up right where The Sum of All Men left off without breaking stride.
I was engaged brotherrhood intrigued the whole book. If you are a seller for this product, would you like to suggest updates through seller support? Let me just say that this book left much to be desired.
With the continued development of the characters and setting, and the addition of some great new elements to the story, this book seems to be where the series really takes off. After hearing news of a Reaver uprising, the group heads towards the walled city of Carris with haste. Dave Wolverton, who is well known as an author of science fiction, lives in Utah w The series starts with just rumors of the legendary reavers, but a week later they are attacking by the thousands.

It was interesting to me that the title of the book doesn’t get explained until the very end of the book, but I believe there will be more to this particular brotherhood in upcoming installments.
The Sum of All Men Runelords: We learn that Gaborn and Iome, and Borensen and Myrimma have quickly gotten hitched, and much of the world seems to be gathering at Sylvarresta to pay homage to the newly christened Earth King.
