Holly Housman rated it did not like it Mar 07, The plot had a fairly interesting twist but I enjoyed it as it reminded me of Fallen by Lauren Kate which is another brilliant novel in the field of paranormal fantasy. I went from loving this book to feeling indifferent towards it about half way through, and I didn’t really feel invested at all.

Published July 26th first published July 16th I did not like how the flashback scene was conducted and while I think the prophecy came together well at the end it was pretty dismal before that. I did like the basic story line, but didn’t become as caught up in the characters as wanted to be.

As a witch, Oscar has the ability to find people and things that he holds dear in his heart, and he is the only witch who was able to find Rose, because of their connection. He is arrogant and overly confident. The Best Books of I was sent this book for review, but I didn’t even end up finishing it. Amazon Business Service for business customers. And what is it about Oscar that is so familiar? Fave character in the end Oscar. One person found this helpful. BUt only when I reread the title to add it to goodreads did I decide to give it 5 stars and that is because I love the name in combination with the end of the book which by the way was my absolute favorite part.

I didn’t like how Rose’s family and past was completely overlooked. This started off so well, I loved the vibe and I adored the banter but it quickly turned downhill. My favorite gabeiella besides the witchcraft was that I loved watching the relationship unfold between Rose and Oscar. On one hand, I really enjoyed the characterisation of Rose and the witty conversations between Caicus and Oscar.

I’m not sure why Oscar thought Rose would be safe if she was in the tree house or out in the woods? I read it over such a long period of time, so I didn’t get that into it. In contrast to this Oscar is a more mild character, when he has dreams of Rose he aims to get closer to her. I’ve been wanting to read this book since the first time I saw the cover Naturally I loved the gesture but didn’t have much hope for a book I was given free but I couldn’t have been furthest from the truth!!

We can notify you when this item is back in stock. More descriptions and world-building, I wanted to read about the things Rose mentioned instead of just having a sentence telling me it had happened. I found it very slow to get into at first because of the long chapters, the story was addictive, crazy addictive.

It’s rushed and childish.
