That’s supposed to keep her docile for the rest of her life? I can’t help comparing this book to Ella Enchanted. Ella is engaged to the prince. Their answer is to trap her in epla dungeon with a serial rapist for a prison keeper, hoping to wear her down so she’ll see a loveless captive life with Charming as a better alternative.
In the end she figures out a way to escape, even though she was forced into the castle’s dungeon for a period of time. You’ve heard the fairy tale: That uaddix very, very funny.
I can;t go into to much more or the story will be ruined if you haven’t read this book yet. Unsourced material may be challenged and removed.
