But there are some good expansions and more detailed explanations of some ideas, like the idea that we’re “still in the camps. Man and Animal by Giorgio Agamben. Some really interesting stuff here, especially it’s interesting to see philosophy engage with botany and ecology and less directly ideas about the anthropecene. He does a great job of controlling the flow of his argument, and I felt like he very rarely lost control of it.
