They are mainly based on not being so wrapped up in yourself, but just to take the time and effort to notice those around you. I just lost interest half way through and had to force myself to read a few more pages.

In real life, there are no nice tidy endings where everyone wins. It is written in such a way that I think it could joticer young adults as well as senior citizens.

I’m not and never have been a fan of certain types of self-help books who knows maybe I’d be rich and so on if I’d listened better It presents vignettes of stressed relationships in a small town, and then has a wizened old man appear from nowhere to encourage a different perspective of the problems.
