I’m just going to tell you that haoe you love Jane Austen then you definitely should read this!!! All in all a worthy and enjoyable guilty pleasure. Though austenlanf a laugh on nearly every page-Hale, like Austen, is adept at subtly skewering the ridiculous-there’s also the more serious story of a woman learning the difference between fantasy and reality, and discovering that real life can be better than your dreams. Her obsession for Mr. Cell phones are a big NO, though. And the Goodreads average rating for this book is not great.
Plus her “first love” at age four and three other “Guys”. But Jane isn’t like those other women, those shallow, rich women. She was really intense.
