The Dark River introduces Gabriel’s father pulls everyone to a nexus centered at the first realm also known as hell. A female Harlequin is going outside her stated cold-blooded role to develop a love interest. So as the Tabula are both working on the Virtual Panopticon and looking for the Traveler, Gabriel discovers that his father — a renowned Traveler — is alive and goes to England to search for him.
I found it satisfying, but it leaves the characters in a fix you will have to wait for the next book to resolve. Of course, John Twelve Hawks doesn’t appear to be preaching some freaked out, simplistic “All technology is bad” sort of message.
Maya, Hollis, Vicki, and Gabriel make this worth it; The more promin review of audio book. Why didn’t I get off my ass jihn procure a book I would enjoy more?
It ends on a cliffhanger leaving the reader wondering how the enigmatic John Twelve Hawks which is obviously a pseudonym will complete the epic and growing series with just one more book to go. This Was for Your Own Good. This twwelve with Lawrence in the last book, so it shouldn’t surprise me, but it was still disappointing.
Which, I suppose, means there is hope for the third part of the trilogy?
Cloistered nuns with a secret! I was hooked with The Traveler and was not disappointed by the way The Dark River continued the story. I’m just going to tell you not to be afriad of this book it’s very easy to read and with a great story! I can hardly wait till haks 3rd.
It will take the eagerly-awaited publication of the third book to see if I might be right. Aug 29, Lauretta rated it really liked it. Also, Maya travels to Italy to learn more about access points previously thought available to only Travelers. That, as well, came off as mere set-up for upcoming exploits.
Mccarthy rated it really liked it. Occasionally this book kept me involved in spite of some flaws due to the characters. Maya, Hollis, Vicki, and Gabriel make this worth jhon The more prominent characters that had only been mentioned before are nice additions.
This one picks up not long after The Traveler Not as good as The Time Traveller but I wouldn’t have missed it. I’m of the belief that readers should be able to pick up any book in a series and enjoy the ride.

We are getting more of the author’s view of the “Realms” as we start to learn about how the Travelers can access the gates and move from one realm to another and the possibility of getting trapped. I can only assume that book three takes our hero to the heights of profit or deliverer as he gains a victory over the opposing evil our own greed.
It has such a dark paranoid feel to it Los Seis Dominios prometen dar mucho juego. Really enjoyed this book. Everything seemed like plot machinations to set up the third book.
A pretty good book, not as good or interesting as the first a bit weaker, but readable.

I came jonh this with good will from reading the first installment. Then there is the Brethren, or the Tabula as they are known to Travelers, who are out to kill all the Travelers and have done so since the beginning. Feb 03, Lisa rated it really liked it.
