Demon in My View is a beautifully written novel and one that I personally can identify with because the author was just fourteen Atwatef-rhodes believe when she started to get her work published. I am disappointed in everyone from the author to the publisher. Quite frankly, Amelia Atwater-Rhodes is one of my favorite authors. Don’t go into it with very high expectations, but come away impressed with this then young author’s writing.

He has never had a human talk back to him, let alone have the gall to fight back against him. There were some pretty good fight scenes in this one though. Many passages from Dark Flame paint Fala in an unflattering light, and the vain and vicious vampiress wants Jessica’s blood.
Jessica dismisses the thought as silly, though disconcerted by how alike Alex is to Aubrey, right down to the clothing and tattoos she describes.
Looking for More Great Reads? She has no patience with atwatter-rhodes friendly Caryn, but she’s instantly drawn to handsome Alex, a cocky, mysterious boy who seems surprisingly familiar.
She died the way she wanted to. I recommend reading it, because it also didn’t take very long. Preceded by In the Forests of the Night. Having once been a year-old girl myself, I recognize a lot of her writing style as quite typical of a teen girl who doesn’t quite fit in and who has at atwatsr-rhodes enough talent to express herself coherently.
I owe a lot of credit to this book; I first read it when I was thirteen, when I was only beginning to discover my book-worm-ish nature, and have since read it several more times.
Followed by Shattered Mirror. But it was another book that was written by Atwater-Rhodes when she was still a teenager, and it is meant for teenagers. I just don’t like Jessica as a character. And if you’re an author, it is difficult to know exactly what you’ve mentioned before in the sequel and what you’re remembering from the first book and what, worst of all, you’re remembering from the color-coded mental maps of the intricate world you’ve built and, if you’re like me and some other authors I know of, have stuck into far too many Microsoft Word documents on your computer.

Caryn is one of them, and for some reason her kind have taken an interest in Jessica. In any case, I very much enjoyed reading the interchange between the two of them.
