Desmoplastic ameloblastoma with osteoplasia: Review of literature with a case report
In the present study, we describe a novel case of hybrid ameloblastoma and present a concise review in the scientific literature to summarize the clinicopathologic characteristics of hybrid ameloblastoma. The histopathology of the lesion was characterized by a stroma containing abundant collagen fibers and scattered desmoplastjc nests or strands composed of spindle-shaped odontogenic epithelial cells.
