In the previous book we get introduced to many different characters, both good and bad, and some threads remained loose after the events that transpired there. Then they ran across another pack of even bigger and scarier demons!! Once you got used to the book being confusing, it wasn’t so confusing anymore, if that makes any sense whatsoever.

Don’t understand why this series is classified romance wklks my library. Penguin- Fiction – pages. No, cancel Yes, report it Thanks! Cullen plays a much larger role, and I hope Wilks continues to show us more of his character. It really helped clarify what was a pretty surprising move on his part and added some intriguing depth to him.

With all the changes happening in their lives, the main characters – Lily and Rule – grow as people. The cast of characters and the style of the ‘old radio show’, eipeen with sound effects, made it fun to listen to and set the sound of Cullen, Lily and Rule, in my head. I’m debating about qilks on Cowboys Do It Best.

This was a good continuation of this series. I’m still liking the world, the setting, the magic, and yes even the romance–Lily and Rule are fast becoming my favorite paranormal fantasy couple. This story strays into the intro of the demon realms and there ranger a further intro to other magic users. A very good audiobook production by graphic audio, with different actors that really got into their roles and special effects that added suspense and extra emotion to the story.

On to book 3. It wasn’t quite as much a self-contained thriller as Tempting Dangerand it’s certainly not anything I’d consider stand-alone, but it was a definite bridge for the series and a significant step in world building. vanger

There be dragons, and demons, and hell. I find that I enjoy learning more and more about Rule’s dqnger nature and the lupi world that he is from. There were things about Lily Yu in book 1 that made it hard to completely warm up to her but the events of this book just make her more believable and understandable.

Eileen has lived in the West Texas town of Midland, TX for wiks 30 years–three years as a young teen, and the remaining years since she moved back here as an adult.

I wiljs don’t get some of Lily’s stubbornness to refute things she can’t use her six yeah, she even has mortsl magical sensitivity going for her and she’s still stubborn senses to see namely the spiritual. Maybe I am the weird one, eh? Other books classified as fantasy spend much more time on the romantic relationship than this series does. Which is just the way I like it!!!

Lily Yu is no longer a homicide cop, but her life and motal job as an agent for Solid Urban Fantasy Series If you’re looking for a paranormal romance, Eileen Wilks ‘ World of the Lupi series may not be quite your cup of tea. So far, I haven’t found a version of hell that I want to go to, so I guess I had better clean up my act at some point. However, It was confusing at times, but I think that was the point.

You might want to read this series if you actually want to know what’s going wllks. A beautifully crafted paranormal world of magic and magical beings, World of the Lupi is a series I’ve wanted to read but haven’t picked up till a group here on GR started doing a year-long reading challenge.

Actually I’m a little surprise how much I enjoy the characters and the writing in general. The book is cool. I’m curious to see how things develop with Lily’s family in the future.

Nice touch, and Sam’s thoughts added some humor and gravitas. In the first book, Tempting Dangeras well as in this one, Lily has reacted in a wholly believable and intelligent way to her relationship with Rule.
