In he publishe Jerome David Salinger was an American author, best known for his novel The Catcher in banabafish Ryeas well as his reclusive nature.
The story is an enigmatic examination of a young married couple, Muriel and Seymour Glass, while on vacation in Florida. It also condemns materialism as a great danger to the soul’s well-being. I could say that Muriel’s mother was trying to keep the conversation “light” while Muriel was asking for advice or help or something.

It even explores the idea that children are somehow more spiritually advanced than adults, more capable of seeing with the soul rather than the fod. I loved the rhythm and flow of Seymour and I salingre hated The Catcher in the Rye — although I keep thinking maybe I should read it yet again and see if I’ve changed my mind about it — so this definitely isn’t a case of just being a fan of Salinger.
