De las 7 tragedias sofocle contiene este libro I didn’t read Electra or Philoctetes, but the rest of the plays, especially the Oedipus Cycle, were excellent! Sofocles escribio mas de un centenar de tragedias; desafortunadamente, tan solo siete tragedias completas se conservan: Las siete tragedias que nos han quedado de este autor.

I rather enjoyed this translation.

Sofocles escribe muy bien. Some things are worth dying for. Su muerte coincidio con la guerra con Esparta, con la cual llega el fin del dominio ateniense.

I’d recommend this translation for people who, like me, are wary of of jumping into Greek drama with very little experience beforehand.
