And, I must say that this book is quite well written and easy to understand it is actually handwritten and not typed. Focus on just one blade of grass: The sense all this makes is even more relevant now with the stupid craze for video. If you Franck recommends drawing as a form of meditation. Where has this book been? I was, however, a college drawing teacher for many years. Pf looking is perfected every day – but we see less and less. Do not expect art lessons, per se.
To know that I was doing this at such an early age amazed me after finishing this read. Maybe it won’t teach you how to draw well, but you’ll definitely see things differently. That it is the most important thing in the universe, that it contains all the riddles of life and death.
It’s rare for me to decide to sell one of my art books, but I’m eager to get this one off my shelf so I can make room for something else.

This books seemed a little to full of what could be taken as quotable type drawing dialogue. I am not a Zen person.

Want to Read Currently Reading Read. Actively look at things, in order to see. The drawings are beautiful, but go beyond weeing superficial beauty. This is an excellent book.
But every creator will have a different call inside of them. So if you want to make art a part of your life, don’t be limited by your perception of your own talent. Absolutely lovely, such a delightful read.
